Brandy Wynn

Kindergarten Teacher

In her 22 years as an educator, Brandy Wynn has been privileged to work with students and teachers in a variety of K-5 settings.  Brandy has served as a resource teacher for students with various disabilities, a classroom teacher in Kindergarten, First, Second, & Third Grade and most recently as a Title 1 Intervention Teacher. She earned her Bachelors and Masters of Education degree in Collaborative Education K-12 from Auburn University. For the past two decades she has been committed to the students, parents, and community of Auburn City Schools, where she was named Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2014.

In this time, she has consistently proven to be a lifelong learner. Brandy is constantly striving to find new ways to reach every student and she loves a new challenge. She maintains excellent relationships with her students, parents, faculty, and administrators. What she enjoys most about teaching is building relationships with students and witnessing their growth both academically and socially throughout the school year. Brandy also spends her time seeking ways to give back to her community. She has a servant’s heart and loves to serve those that need support. The trust she builds with families is a direct reflection of her consistency and dependability.

Brandy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and learning new skills that allow her to express her creativity.  Recently those hobbies include punch needling, creating charcuteries, using oyster shells to craft, and abstract paintings. Brandy has been married for nearly 20 years to Brian, who is also an educator in Auburn. They have 2 children, Annabelle who is an upcoming senior at Auburn High and Matson who will attend ACC Academy as a first grader. Over the past 10 years she has served the Lord on countless mission trips to Nicaragua and Uganda. These trips have combined her love for people, teaching, and spreading the good news! Brandy has been intentional in all her years as an educator to pray for students, to model service to others, and to show the love of Christ in her classroom. She is beyond excited to surrender and walk in obedience, as the Lord has called her to transform her teaching career at ACC Academy. She is thankful for the opportunity to teach His word daily and be a part of the spiritual formation of students at an early age.
