Mission Statement: Our mission is to improve the quality of life for Hispanic children and families by implementing programs that meet the needs of low-income Hispanic families and their children in such critical areas as mental health, youth development, childcare, education, and advocacy.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Weekly:
Tutoring at both the Auburn location (Parkway Baptist Church) and Opelika location (1908 Opelika Road) each Monday-Thursday from 5-6pm
Host or lead a community group of the students!
Monthly:
Food distribution last Thursday of every month from 2pm-5pm (Mobile Clinic outside Goodwill in Opelika)
Quarterly:
Backpack Drive: collecting supplies to fill a backpack, organizing and delivering backpacks
Thanksgiving Dinner: Big thanksgiving dinner with all of our Esperanza House families in November
Hudson Family Farm Day: Farm and lake day with our kids in April
Esperanza House Family Retreat: Retreat for our Esperanza House families at Camp Maranook in September
