Read: Acts 24:27-25:12; 2 Corinthians 3:12-18

  1. Icebreaker: Imagine 10 years into the future. What would you love to see happening in your life? This doesn’t have to be over spiritual, zero shame. Just be honest.
  2. What season are you in right now? A mountain top, a valley, or the in-between? What is Jesus inviting you into in your season?
  3. How does the world rob us of our contentment in seemingly ordinary seasons?
  4. “If there is no pursuit of beholding the glory of God on an average day, you are missing the point of your life”
    1. How does this challenge your view of your life? How does it challenge your view of discipleship?
  5. Discuss - “Lifelong transformation into the image of Jesus happens through bold, ongoing worship of Jesus in your everyday life.”
    1. Can you discern what motivates your faithfulness in ordinary seasons? Are you motivated by what Jesus can do for you or by just being with Jesus?

  6. Discuss - “Discipleship begins with whole-life orientation around Lordship of Jesus.”
    1. Re-Read 2 Corinthians 3:12-18 as a group in three different Bible translations. What does this text tell us about God? What does it tell us about Man? What does it tell us about obedience? How does this truth influence your daily actions and decisions?
    2. “We do not naturally drift towards Christlikeness.” What specific spiritual disciplines do you need to incorporate into your rhythms?
  7. Discuss - “Your journey endures by receiving the invitation of Jesus to begin again.”
    1. Where in your life are you most fearful to “begin again”?
